Ulla is a Senior Lecturer at UCN and is organizer of the Learning Analytics Summer Institute 2013, 2015 and 2016 at Aalborg University, Denmark. Her research focuses on innovative feedback and assessment designs within learning design in Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL), and on the implementation of open educational resources in learning and teaching in Higher Education, including in MOOCs.

Sandra Milligan, University of Melbourne, Australia (s.milligan@unimelb.edu.au)
Sandra is the Director of the Assessment Research Centre at the University of Melbourne. She is a member of the Learning Analytics Research Group at the University of Melbourne and the Convener of a University of Melbourne MOOC targeting professional learning and research engagement of teachers. She is conducting research on new approaches to assessment and certification in MOOCs. Sandra’s current research interests focus on assessment, micro-credentialing and warranting of hard-to-assess learning. Her most recent research examined how ‘big data’ and developmental assessment approaches can be used on digital learning platforms, to support assessment of higher-order learning skills such as ‘21st Century skills’, or learning skills.

Linda is a Senior Lecturer in Higher Education, working on several research projects that explore ways learning analytics can be used to provide meaningful and timely feedback to academics and students with the Learning Analytics Research Group, University of Melbourne. Linda's research interests include students' engagement with technology, learning analytics, feedback, and learning design. Linda is chair of the University of Melbourne’s Learning Analytics Research Group and co-founder of the Victorian and Tasmanian Learning Analytics Network.
